Find one of our service centres, Agents or Access Points. We can help with payment and service information for Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support.
If you’re affected by restrictions or in self isolation, you can do most of your Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support business with us online or by phone self service.
We’re experiencing a high demand for our services due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Read more about payments and services during COVID-19.
You can now do all of these things online through myGov:
- confirm your identity
- get a Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
- create a Centrelink online account
- link your Centrelink online account to myGov.
You don’t need to visit a service centre or call us to do any of these.
For Centrelink services, you can call ahead to book an appointment at a service centre.
Due to COVID-19, service centres may be closed or open at different times. Some service centres are also currently not booking appointments.
In line with the health advice we limit the number of staff and customers inside our service centres. If you can do your business using our self service options, we may ask you to do this from somewhere else. This will let us help customers with more complex enquiries.
In a lockdown area only visit us if it’s essential. You can do most of your Centrelink, Medicare or Child Support business with us online through myGov.
If you can’t do your business online, you can call us.
Check local COVID-19 restrictions about wearing a face mask and check in requirements before you enter our service centres. Your state or territory government website will have the latest information:
- Australian Capital Territory Government COVID-19
- New South Wales Government COVID-19
- Northern Territory Government COVID-19
- Queensland Government COVID-19
- South Australia Government COVID-19
- Tasmanian Government COVID-19
- Victorian Government COVID-19
- Western Australia Government COVID-19
If you don’t have the internet at home you can use our self service terminals. There are some changes due to coronavirus, so check if your local service centre offers this before you visit.
